Accessing, Updating, and Deleting Your Personal Information
You can access and update certain personal information about you by visiting your account settings. You can also submit a data privacy request to receive a copy of personal information that we hold about you, free of charge.
If you believe that any personal information that we are holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, we will work with you to make corrections deemed necessary. Note that we may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
If you’d like Kaik to delete your account or delete personal information it holds about you, you can submit a deletion request. Note that when we delete your account, personal information that you have shared with others (for example, through comments or an intake form) may still be visible. If you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send you transactional communications, such as service announcements, administrative and legal notices, and information about your account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of these communications. If you no longer wish to use the Site or receive any communications from us (except for those that are legally required), please contact hi@teachify.com to have us delete your account.
Please note that opting out of promotional email communications only affects future communications from us. If we have already provided your information to a third party (such as a credit card processing partner) before you changed your preferences or updated your information, you may have to change your preferences directly with that third party.
Do Not Track Signals
Your browser may give you the option to send a “Do Not Track” instruction to websites you visit. However, since there is no accepted standard for how a website should respond to this instruction, we do not currently recognize or respond to these signals.
We will adopt appropriate technologies and measures, such as firewall, data encryption, building access control or data access restrictions and other physical control over such personal data, to protect your personal data in accordance with the law to prevent the loss, misuse, unauthorized use, accessing, disclosure or change, or damage or destruction of such personal data. However, no method of data transmission or storage system is absolutely secure, and we cannot guarantee that your personal information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed in the event of a breach of any of our security measures.

In the event of any unauthorized use of your personal data or any safety concern in respect of your personal data, please promptly report it to us by sending us an email at legal@kaik.com.
Unless requested by governmental authority or by law, or unless sharing the personal data with a third party in accordance with the Privacy Policy, we shall keep your personal data confidential.
We will procure that any third party that obtains, processes and uses your personal data pursuant to the Privacy Policy will assume certain confidentiality and protection obligations in respect of your personal data that are the same as those requested by the Privacy Policy. However, if you suffer any damage or loss attributable to the act or omission of such third party, except for, to the commercially reasonable extent, assisting you in claiming your right against such third party, the Company shall not be liable for any such damage and loss.
We save personal information we collect for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which the personal information is collected and processed. Generally, we will keep your personal information until your account is deleted, or as needed to provide you with our services.
